crank position sensor

Has anyone had any problems with their crank position sensor. If so how was your car acting? Was it only having trouble starting or did it cause rough idling too?

It can cause a no start condition, and I suppose a rough idle if it has a poor contact....doubtful about the idle though.

Never had a problem. Take it off and clean it. clean the electrical contacts and reinstall. Any nicks in the wire that leads to that sensor?

They should not be that expensive for a new one
