I drove Vedicated Tunings 2011 5.0 6-Auto shop car. The new Mustangs are awesome from the factory. Ford NA modular power - this car did 12.7s quarter mile at the Sacramento Raceway, and 370/330 on the dyno. That motor is silky smooth (refined) and really pulls; the back end really squats when you nail it...lol There is plenty of torque everywhere! The stock GT springs soaked up the road pretty well and very compliant and solid ride w/some lean in on turns. Interior has upgraded materials feels high quality and now has a 160mph speedometer! Interior is very quite does a good job of keeping road noise down.
Something to note though on the Auto the calibration from Ford could use some adjustments. There is a 1-2 second delay when you hammer throttle and the shifts are very soft as well. Autos will benefit greatly with a re-calibrated shift schedule via aftermarket tuning. The exhaust is nice but is too refined to be a Mustang that will be the first thing to go I imagine!
Anyhow although very tempting to off the Marauder and pick one of these bad boys up I think I could wait a few years being I have an 06. Great bargain for 29k though and NOTHING out there will match it for watch you pay. Where talking BMW M3 numbers, quality and refinement arena (motor)...NO JOKE!
