Hey Zack, thanks for the info on the DPB rotors. I have a problem with too much brake dust from my Baer brakes. What are the best brake pads to use with the Baer brake kit?
Thanks.

I am not Zack either.
There's ONLY 1 Zack
I had Napa Ceramix with my Baer rotors but the pads had heat cracks in them and the rotors warped real bad. I just picked up some Semi-Metallics from NAPA and will be installing them tonight. Since I dont ever drive the car, I cant say how fast Ill be able to give you a review.
Hey Fordnut, I looked for the Metal Masters and could not find a listing for the C5 Vette

OK, they're no longer called Metal Master, they're Axxis XBG. I found them online at several places. They're semi-metallic like the NAPA ones you got so I suspect the NAPA pads are just as good. I don't think anybody makes true sintered metal pads any more, but that's what I would really prefer.
The pads I got from NAPA were 93 bucks so they better be good!

Why C5 Vette? I take it they will fit the 14" Baer.

Thank you.
FYI EVERYTHING from a Baer brake kit (less the relocation brackets and Hat) is from a C5 Vette.
Caliper, Abutment bracket and pads....
Trust me Im working on a Brake kit that is well-priced, using the same components.

^^ truth. I dominated the bleed screws on one of mine, so I'll be getting some take off corvette calipers without the raised lettering as spares.

Say what? quick change are like the wilwood boys that you just pull the clips on the top of the caliper pull the pads and drop new ones in without moving the calipers at all. . . The Baers change like all the other floating calipers I've ever had

ok well QuickER  im used to having to completly take the caliper off not just removing the top bolt rocking it back and sliding the new pads in or out.

ahh I see you scared me, that's how I do all my cars. I was over here thinking that there was something about the Baers I had missed for the last 5 years

Did you contact the folks in the link or did you contact DBA directly? If you're trying to order directly from DBA you're wasting your time.
