I was wandering around the internet looking for Honda 3 wheeler parts and got lost. Here is one of the cool sites I found (can't link you to the others :o ).

The machining video here is probably the coolest. Fast forward a bit to see the piston rings getting cut and cylinder heads being made.

Lol! Figured you'd like this one Dave. I do some wood working and machining metal looks awfully similar in many ways. I'd love to get my hooks on some machinery sometime and give it a shot myself.

What's even more impressive IMO is that these guys are building these on older machines in their garages and shops. These aren't getting cranked out in high volume by automated CNC mills. Also, they are following plans developed by a guy some 70+ years ago.
