I used to pull a small trailer with my John Deere riding mower on it. Now I am going to use it to pull the trailer with the slicks and such on it.

I have used it to tow a motorcycle trailer, but mainly use it for the hitch-mounted cargo rack for carrying my drag radials to the track.

I tow my boat occasionally.....about 2K pounds and my enclose trailer with my Cobra replica inside only a couple times since it is 7K POUNDS!! :eek:

It pulls the weight OK but I'm in flat country...wouldn't think of hauling it very far though!!:shake:

i used mine to total civics....had 2 rearend me and only damage was to the MM was a small crack in my bumper(maybe 1 inch long). Both of their civics were totalled :cool4:

I use my hitch to tow a small Zodiac. I leave the ball in year round it's also a great defender in the parking lots.

I actually bought my Marauder to tow my 23.5' Travel Trailer 2785 lbs empty and when towed will be about 3800 lbs. My 1992 Crown Vic pulled it well (with tow package) but up the hills it was hurting (65 flat out)! So the Marauder will be next on the list. Before I do this I will make the following changes/additions:

1. Large trans cooler 30,000 GVW made in the USA.
2. Electric Brake hookup
3. 4.10 gears with rebuild of track lock assembly.
4. I already have the SCT2 tuner from Zack which has GREATLY improved the shift characteristics. J mod being considered since I like a "Chirp".
5. Balance of the drive shaft (not that it needs it but just as an assurance).
6. 2.25" Magnaflow Mufflers and respective x-pipe in stainless.

Since I am out of work now we haven't had a chance to try it out. But sometime in 2011 should be the initial tow.
