I was driving on the Baltimore Beltway Sunday afternoon when this BMW Z4 comes cruising by.
I look at it as it passes by and I almost vomited.
It was the most hideous ARMY GREEN color that I've ever seen on a car.
I thought that it was some moron who spent a ton of $$$ on an incredibly ugly custom paint job.

Nope!....I did a little research:

BMW actually offered that color!....It's called "Urban Green".

:puke:

It would look better in British Racing Green, but I agree with you. Yuck!

Army green belongs on the Uniform not on a BMW.

I don't think the Army would be caught dead in that car, blah!!!

No love for roadsters huh?

I don't hate the color, but it definitely doesn't belong on that car.

I like the color but really hate the car. Needs a dark tan leather to pull that color off.

I am retired Army and I don't do GREEN at all anymore. That is certainly not a Shade of Green that I ever saw on a military vehicle.

Call me crazy but I love it.

I'm so tired of seeing the same colors used on every car on the road. Manufactureers just don't take any risks anymore. Some of the wild colors offered by Chrysler these days are about the only thing I actually like about them.

I can't be the only one sick of seeing 2,000 silver cars each and every day.

I agree. I think theres nothing wrong with the basic colors, but they should have at least something special about them. like DTR is a really nice red. Or the MM blue. You can use the basic colors but tweak them to look really nice and stand out.

More of a pea soup green than Army green. I'm on the fence....don't hate it, not sure if I like it.

I like it; its like being green without being green.

It was going to be called "baby poop" but they wound up changing it at the last minute.

I am really appreciating nice colored paintjobs (I am sick to death of black/white/silver/grey cars) but that shade of green is terrible. Harley has a color called "olive" that has been used on and off for the past 70 years that is similar. Ok on a Harley, gawd awful on a Beemer.
