Quick Question

Ok, guys, a quick/stupid question. I have ans SCT X3 with a DR tune installed on my Marauder. A friend of mine has an '04 Aviator that is giving him problems and is apparently throwing various trouble codes. I was wondering if I could hook my SCT up to his OBD and retrieve the codes for him to help point him in the right direction.

I know that the SCT is locked to my VIN and can't install the tune on multiple cars, but can I use it to read codes on multiple cars, or just my car? Thanks in advance.

Should work on most ford 4.6s

It should work on all Ford cars threw their OBDII port.

Any Ford programmed SCT device will pull codes on any similar year range Ford vehicle, atleast engine DTC's

OK, thanks guys! I didn't want to tell him that I could help, and schlep the SCT to his house, just to find out that it was locked to my car.

It will work on all makes OBD 2
