:coolman:My 03 is overheating, not only is the ambient temp crazy hot but the MOGATER is too. I have replaced the thermostat today as it appears to be a ciculation problem. Is it known that the water pump can fail even if it sounds normal running (usually they leak or a bearing noise is apparent)

Do a search... Every week there is a new thread with answers on this very subject.

Good Luck.

Search "burping the cooling system".

front end of the car must be higher than the rear. let the car warm up to temp then shut off and let cool. there is a plug on the top of the metal coolant line cant miss it. undo that plug and air should come out you will see the antifreeze fill up to the top of that plug add more if needed.
