A street legal 1974 VW Rail Buggy with a mild 1600 motor.

I have been looking for one for a while that would fit my big ass and this does the trick (barely......).

I just picked it up today.

I am psyched.

I will do just a few tweaks and to personalize it, honest!!!

Looks like fun. :D

I remember working on Dune Buggies, but they were designed by Munchkins because I could not sit in them, my knees would jam in the dash and get cut up on the serated fibergalss lip! Hurst just thinking about it.

I didn't know there was a state that allowed open wheels on the street, even mc have fenders.

That thing is sick! Crazy that you can register that thing! I don't think they would allow that here is MA. Good luck with it! I am sure it will be a blast!

I have hijacked many threads myself and have learned the error of my way and feel it is my duty to not only stop de-railing threads myself, but also stop others from de-railing threads!

Sweet! A buddy of mine had one of these, way back when.

When, as in when I was a bunch smaller and more limber and could fit in it.;)

Had a lot of fun cruising around in it, still remember the V-Dub sound...
