03 vs. 04 engine compression ratio

Hey guys, just a quick question.

I always thought the compression ratio in the Marauder motor was 9.85:1, but I was visiting the Mercury Marauder official website, and it shows a compression ratio of 10.1:1

Has the compression ratio always been 10.1:1, or is that a change from the 03 model?

BTW, the Lincoln Aviator which I guess uses this engine has always, and is still 9.85:1 according to the website.

The '03 has always had 10.1:1 from the start

Thanks, I guess I was thinking about my old former 01 SVT Cobra which also had a compression ratio of 9.85:1 in this motor.
