I have the opportunity of receiving one of these Data-Acquisition Systems as a gift for Christmas, both are priced at $249.95
If anyone already has either one of these two systems, I would appreciate it if you shared the Pros & Cons on them in real world testing.
Thanks in advance for the input, here is the web site for both systems:

I am in the same situation as far as choosing which one. I like the way the screen looks on the G-Tech better.

I am going with the GTimer. Just ordered it for $210.
If I like it I am going to have it installed in the dahs trim where the clock went on the 300A.

Wow, these things have come a long way. I still have my circa-mid-90s Gtech Pro lying somewhere in this room I'm sitting in right now, and I can tell you it looks like a plain old-fashioned radar detector, basically a cigarette carton shape (not as wide) with a suction cup appendage. Small red LED segment display, nothing more. Awesome...

the G-Tech basic model, and I'm satisfied w/it. It cast about $100 less than the G-Tech Pro does, is ofcourse made by the same company, and is perfectly adequate IMO. I mean how often are you really gonna use it? I use mine only when I've done some MODS to the car, and for measuring the ET reduction of any mods, I think it's pretty good since it is repatable, and that's all you're rrally concerned about when performing modifications. Weather or not it's really as accurate as the equipment they have at the race track for measuring ET's, I dunno.
