front passenger window sticking?!?!?
Over my lifetime, I've owned eight (9) Fords - two Broncos, an F-350, a Thunderbird, a Mustang, Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis, and two Marauders. All with electric windows (as I remember) the front passenger window gets stuck. You can pound the door, slam it, ride over bumps, until it magically decides all on its on to roll the window down.
Just glad I seem to always be in the driver's seat to control the amount of incoming air.

Never had a problem with the power windows in my Fords - 2 T-Birds, Aerostar, Escort, 3 Cougars & the Marauder.

I had a similar problem with the windows sticking more than 6 years ago. >>>> http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=9102&highlight=silicone Seems to be primarily related to mis-ailigned window guides. Noted back in 2004 as a fairly common problem with Crown Vics, Grand Marquis and Marauders. Sometimes silicone spray helps. Sometimes the guides have to be aligned properly.

I have had the same issue... They always roll up and down really slow.
Mark, I hope you received my e-mail. Also, sorry I didn't answer the phone last night! I was in the shower and then my girlfriend came over and the fact that you called slipped my mind! I am very scatter brained lately! Sorry buddy!

Funny ... maybe it's because all my Fords have/had tinted windows. I'll have to try the silicone spray. My dad had his passenger side window motor replaced recently in his '96 Eddie Bauer Bronco. What also sux is the rear window defroster in the '04 Silver doesn't work and insurance only covers front windshields. Glad we don't have much ice or snow in Northeast/Central Florida.
P.S. No e-mail, Tom. Left you a VM as well.

Mine all work from the master control pad, but the front passenger window can't be rolled up from it's controller. My old crown victoria had the exact same problem :S

Every other year put some lythium grease on the tracks for the windows inside of the door pannels and if you have a moon roof do it on that as well to keep things working and moving smooth I have never had a problem with any car doing this and motors last a lot longer for them as well with the free lubricated movment.
Lubrication is the life of all moving parts and it is worth doing even the odd ball stuff from time to time.

Just went through window sticking problem on the Marauder last week. Same window. Unscrewed window motor and got the window to move slightly down. Reassembled and it is working for now.

Mine wasn't sealing properly at the rear. It would hit the front weatherstripping and tilt forward, leaving a gap in back that would whistle on the freeway. I finally adjusted the track toward the rear and it seals better now. Sometimes my passenger window doesn't want to roll up and it requires a couple of button presses though. May have to look into that eventually...

If your widow is gowing up or down real slow then goto the dealer and get the grease they use on the track's. I had the exact issue and they put a special powder type grease on the black rubber seal. No problem since!

Had it happen on two different CVPI I was assigned. I've said it before, the guy on that side of the assembly line at STAP either has a bad elbow or a vision problem.
