I'm going to sound deaden the doors of my Marauder. I don't want to waste my money buying something as overpriced as dynamat. I've looked on ebay and there are lots of options availible for cheap deadener, I just don't know which are effective.

What do you guys of this product: http://www.fatmat.com/

What do you guys use that's cheap and effective?
Also, how many sq feet will I need for 4 doors and trunk (rough estimate)?

Would it be a good idea to do the roof as well?

thanks

I need a similar product, but I need to keep the fap-ing sounds in, instead of the road noise out.

With all the cars getting this installed, it should be really fun to unistall in 20 years when modern cars to us now are getting rebuilt.

Bawazir, make sure you get a roller it will save time, also it's a lot easier to mold pieces if you lay them out in the sun about 60 mins before applying silver side down, makes them softer and easier to handle.

Other than rust...why would you un-install it? Most rebuilders will put deadner in resto-mod cars all day! I dont think a marauder will ever be a tinker free queen-type car. I could be wrong, wife says I always am.

I'm sure they said this back in the mid 70's on Camaro's too. LOL And yet I had one down to just the shell for a complete rebuild. I'm just saying we allready have enough crap to remove, tag, and store, here we have a sticky obsticle for the future. I should keep my mouth shut as I have never installed nor removed, it was merely a thought:)
