Ok, so heres the deal. its a bit of a dilemma, as stated in the thread title, lol. My aunt got a cruise for 4 people from her work and didnt want it. so she gave it to me, awesome right? :D

now the only down side is that my friends and i have to pay for is a plane ticket to ft. lauderdale, so thats no biggie. problem is that the travel package covers the cost of a rental car, which none of us are old enough to rent i believe. i think the age is 25(?) before you can rent a car? everyone going is 21 except one person who is 23. soooo im looking for suggestions here. we have to have a car when we're in ft. lauderdale since the package includes 2 days in a hotel in ft. lauderdale and 2 days on the cruise ship. anyone have any idea of how we can get a rental?

on a side note, if anyone is local to ft. lauderdale, let me know. you can give us the grand tour

Call the car rental company, in some instances they will rent to young'ns, but you may have to pay for the insurance, or they may let an older person take liability, never hurts to call.

You CAN NOT take in Fort Lauderdale from a cab... Atleast goto the beach and rent a scooter to cruise on. But not a cab! Trust me I know

Not much in Ft. Lauderdale except the beach.I'm sorry to disagree with you, but their are a few clubs & lot's of bars .They can do a Boat rental/ Jet skies or even rent a Charter Boat and go deep sea fishing. I guess it depends on what they are looking to do. They could also take a cab down to Ocean drive or Washington ave in South Beach, lot's of clubs & bars in that area.

Not to mention some of the best reef diving in the state. Shopping, riverboat rides, the Everglade's, Las Olas, Hard Rock Casino, I can keep going!
