I'm about to start a rug company! I can't understand where all this hair comes from! :D

i hear that! i've got a Border Collie/lab mix and she sheds year round non-stop. you can literally brush her in the same spot over and over and still pull out the same amount of hair each time yet she doesn't appear to be losing any of it.

You need to get a dog with hair not fur if you don't want to vacuum all the time.

I babysat a Siberian Huskey named Beauregard, aka, Bubba once. That sumbitch used to take ME for a walk and that was with a choker chain on. Beautiful dog.

I have a German Shepherd / Golden Retriever mix, and two Rotties. My wife can brush both Rotties until no more comes off. Then she brushes the Shep mix, and with one pass, has two to three times the amount of fur from both Rotts combined ! After using the Furminator on the Shep, the wad of fur is about the size of a Pomeranian !

( me: hey look, we got another dog ! her: very funny, that's just Bogey's fur)

I keep telling my wife that we need to find a use for all that fur. Maybe use it to stuff pillows or make a sweater or a blanket.

21943 Huskies are great......but my boy Buddy doesn't shed! (Just costs me $45 bucks to CUT his hair every 8 weeks :o:D)

I had one, and loved that dog, but hated all the shedding. She was a beautiful brindle (red) with blue eyes, smart and strong as an ox, but my wife wouldn't let me allow her in the house.

Did you ever let your wife back in the house? :D My Husky's name is Guiness. He's too smart for his own good, damn more of a handful than my three boys! Boy can they run like a bat out of hell when they want to.

A fellow co-worker had one that was beautiful in white and beige. He told me that it "would have been a show dog if it didn't have striaght teeth".
