How about just search the word "chin", you'll even find a picture of Maruderman's chin spoiler.

If you get one just remember not to pull up close to curbs when parking.

Theoretically, it should direct more air into the four openings in your bumper cover...

Personally, I think it looks great.
Plus I understand it makes the black ones faster; and everything else lag behind.

Just make sure your driveway entrance will allow you to pull in without it's hitting the ground every time.
I want to put one on my Marauder but I know it means backing into and out of the driveway to avoid it's hitting the ground. A minor inconvieniance for the extra looks.

I used to be into Minitruckin and am no stranger to dragging stuff. Most of my trucks were bodydropped soooo thats not a big deal for me I just dont want to damage any parts

Badge less grilles are made not bought. A do it yourself project and you brought up a 6 year old thread for that ?

just because it is old thread doesn't mean it is hard to find, there are dates for a reason..nonetheless..Badgeless grilles are not bought thru retail. either you make it or pay someone to make it then have to paint it etc..Zack has made them before and sometimes will and sometimes won't..have to message him and see what he charges etc. he doesn't paint though, I'm pretty sure

Mine has a badgeless grille, pretty popular, but not everyone wants to make one so not that uncommon, but not all have them either.

You find someone who is parting out grill teeth
You will need 6 teeth to make it badge less
Cut. Glue. Sand. Paint.
I have teeth to do this. Let me know if you want to buy them
40.00 shipped in the lower 48 states

A wire coat hanger fits snugly in the back side of the teeth for extra support. Just bend it to fit and epoxy it in. Cut the teeth clean and glue in and only a couple of drips of touch up paint will be needed. [emoji1303]

I wasn't sure I wanted to do the chin spoiler at first because I was so worried about ground clearance, but after seeing photos like this one, I'm coming around. I've had my car for 3 months now, I find that where I need to go, I won't be hindered too much by one. This one looks just right. Are there different ones? What year Mustang spoiler is this and is there a particular source that is a better quality? There are several to choose from on ye ole interweb...

Not that it matters , but that pic is a Crown vic..it belongs to gDMJoe in Michigan and has over 100,000 miles on it, and still looks like new.

I centered mine and taped it up with painters tape and some clamps and drilled 1/4 inch holes through both the lip and bumper and installed push pins about every 10 inches or so.

I lined the chin spoiler up with existing holes in the bumper as much as possible
Only had to drill 2 holes in the bumper
Center the spoiler by getting the ends matched up evenly by the wheels, that way it looks the same side to side

Close up pics of the install would be great. Especially where it connects at each end at the wheel weld.
So I should be able to use existing bolts? I ordered mine from UPR

Most people don't bolt it in fear that if they hit something it could possibly damage the front bumper. But with the push pins they will most likely fail before damaging your bumper.
Turbov6Bryan
07-15-2016, 04:22 PM
Yeah. Those Christmas tree style push pins aren't the best
Just line it up with existing holes, I believe I used 6 holes total
It's not much weight

Thanks guys. Didn't look like the holes in the spoiler would line up with existing bolts , but I don't imagine these would come with different holes

I pulled the spoiler forward and lined it up to look like this
I did not cut anything
