Last night we welcomed into our family a new kitten. Her name is Samantha. She is an adorable 13 week old F2 Savannah. She loves to bounce around and play.

I heard that you can walk a Savanna on a leash. Will you be doing the same?

Holy cow!!! Your new kitty is awesome!! I am seriously jealous. For real, Brian and I were just talking about getting one of these cats yesterday with my aunt. We were just concerned that it would grow up to eat our dogs. :)
Awesome! She will not take any crap from your new doggie at all. Being an F2 she is going to retain quite lot of triats from her wild realitives. She will definetly keep you and the dog on your toes. Congradulations guys! I can't wait to see her as she grows.

Don't forget Gordon's saying in a slight Chinese accent, "Chicken go meow, beef go bow wow". And ... "Four legged chicken have more meat than two legged chicken".
Her name is Samantha.

Yea, Samantha and her soon-to-be puppy brother are going to be hand fulls but it is going to be a lot of fun as they grow up. Once she settles in more, you guys can meet her.
Thanks Everyone for the congrats. More pics to follow ...

Awesome Cat! The first picture reminded me of a Lynx. I am not much of a cat lover but I did have one cat that I really miss. He was a stray but had an awesome personality. Good luck with your new baby!
An F2? They grade that breed like they grade tornados? Holy sh.........
I say get Haggis leash trained before trying it on the cat. He probably causes more mayhem when unattended anyway, lol. Cool looking cat, I see your deer population declining.

The breeder still has kittens available, interested Glenn?

Yes, and no. ;) I have two conures that I wouldn't trust around such a kitty. My birds have co-existed with 4 other cats in their lifetime (they outlived them all) but I'd probably want to know more about the breed before attempting to keep them both under the same roof. I'd want to see if Savannas could learn to live with 'prey'.

Samantha is now 36" long stretch out, 12" tall at the shoulders and at least 10lb and growing. She should at least gain another 5lb - 10lb and grow another half again as large. Pics to follow.

Don't blame ya in the least. Sounds like it wore out its welcome. My wife was protecting a male cat we had from me finding out just how much damage that SOB was doing. It had gone knuts. I banished it to the outside/garage under penalty of death if I found it in the house. She thought I wasn't serious...

Cool cat. I have a 4 yr old bengal named Wega. My girlfriends daughter just made the cat its own facebook page. (Wega Herniman) He acts much more like a dog its pretty cool. It was funny to see him and my 180lb Neopolitan Mastif play around.

My Rotty Otto has his own facebook page too. Just don't let the facebook people find out. Apparently only humans are allowed to have facebook pages  Somehow my 13 yr old daughter convinced them that "Otto is a doggie" is actually human. :dunno: The sob thinks he is anyways. All 160#s of him and he isn't fat, just way out of breed standard. He thinks hes a lap dog... Try that one on with a broken spine. :(
