Corner light side marker assembly

I pulled off easily my left side corner light assembly as it was hit by a truck and cracked. However, does anyone know how to install it? I am having trouble. it appears that there is a black tab towards the back of the light and a piece of metal tab on the fender with a hole in it. Help

The rear of the light (plastic tab) slips behind the metal tab, and serves as the rear mount...There are no bolts in the rear of the light...just that tab... the light is secured via two (2) bolts that is acessed from the top just behind the headlight...
