RC boat that is. It's an 855W brushless 2300K/V powered with a 3S lipo battery. 5200mah at 20C rate discharge. both the motor and the esc are water cooled. I have a few stability issues to work out but the boat is very exciting to run.

Nice! I have a couple of RC trucks that I used to run. Brushless motors for the win :banana:

Too cool, a rooster tail from a RC boat! Almost seems like its too much motor for it though. Enjoy!

Well, yes and no. I watched a boat sink stern 1st, at the dock, when put in the water because the engine was too big for the boat. We told him it was going to happen, but he obviously didn't listen. Exspensive lesson in listening. :D

I need to figure out how to program the electronic speed controller for slow start instead of hard start. That will make it much more controllable and keep the boat from spinning when I hit the throttle. The instructions I have don't seem to work.
