Think capacitor, coil, or wires??? Points are new. Runs fine normal acceleration, stumble/misses on moderate/hard acceleration. stock 350.

Are the points adjusted correctly? Also check your coil connections. I had one loosen up on my Olds that caused a miss sometimes.

if that doesn't work, go to the carb and start with the filter and then the float adjustment.

Sounds like the accelerator pump in the carb. Look down the throat of the carb, and the burp the throttle by hand and you should see some gas being squirted in the throat of the carb. If you apply the throttle slowly, you won't see much, if any additional gas being put in. The accelerator pump makes up for the lack of fuel on a hard acceleration. To avoid a lean condition, the pump will squirt additional fuel to "keep up" with the sudden air increase. So see if you are getting that squirt of gas on a quick burp of the throttle.
