Hey guys. I plan on getting nitrous with the zex wet kit 100 shot. i searched these forums and they seem to be my best bet. I have a couple questions so I can get a ballpark figure on the costs.

I understand the mustang zex kit part # 82023 has the power supply line that is too short for our marauders? So someone mentioned on the forums it is part # 82026 ls1/ls6 but thats for chevys. is this the correct part # for our marauder?

Also with this whole kit, will i need any mandatory additional parts? Will it be "safe" running the nitrous kit without additional parts for a while?"Such as bottle heaters, remote bottle opener, traction control mod, pressure guages, etc."

How much will the labor costs be around for the install?I'm also planning to get it custom dynod to compensate for the nitrous , I don't really want to pull timing myself or get a mailorder tune because I know nitrous is all about a good tune so I dont blow my motor. Do you think I can just pull a couple degrees off the timing myself or it's best to get it dynotuned?

So far for total ballpark price i have $515 for the zex kit, $350 for dynotune, plus the installation price which im curious of.

Any info is appreciated!!
Thanks:beer:

A 100 shot of NOS is really about 60-70rwhp.

Also in MD you can carry nitrous all day long in your vehicle if it is under 50lbs (filled). Over 50lbs (filled) you have to have a placard. It is NOT illegal to transport nitrous and you don't need a sticker or placard unless it is over 50lbs. It is illegal to USE nitrous in MD so they may get you if it is hooked up because that shows intent. I would still get a sticker or placard to be on the safe side, plus the track likes to see them.

I have 2 100 shot kits, one installed (Dynotune and Zex) and another full one with remote opener and warmer with a window switch (all Zex). One BIG requirement I would say is upgrade your fuel pump. I went lean becuase my pump wasn't able to supply enough fuel at the top. Also talk to:

I will be tuning into this thread - guccijayda, please post results if/when you decide to pull the trigger as well as what kit/parts you went with.

I've been thinking about spray for the past month or so...

Did yours go lean with a wet kit or a dry kit? with a wet kit couldn't you just up the fuel jet?
