Interesting that you mention that....I went to but an American Flag prior to Memorial Day and my first thought was:

:hmmm:...."I bet that the American Flags will be made in Pakistan or China..."

I checked the label on the flag/pole/hardware kit, and it read:

"Flag proudly manufactured in the United States
pole, finial, hardware and packaging manufactured in China."

I check everything I pick up in a store. Depending on where it's made, I ask myself "Do I really need this or do I just want it?" And most of the time I put it back.
