The tuner is "married" to a VIN when you set it up. You swap the stock tune for the new tune and the stock tune then resides on the tuner. You'll need a tuner for each car.

At the same time, no.
After returning the first one to stock, then downloading a tune for the different PCM code to match the second one, you can then use it for a second MM.

Only if you turn one back to stock. And there both 03 or 04 the files are different between these two years.

not to high jack but I have a question= I bought a SCT x3 off of ebay. It says its married. So That means its locked? I have to send it back to SCT to unlock? Is that right? I only paid $ 117 for it.

Yes and if you would have gone to my forum and read the top post, you would have saved yourself the loss and the agrivation, stay with a LICENCED SCT dealer, you can not go wrong.
