Everybody seems to be 4.10ing themselves around here. What do they put the RPMs at around 75mph? Spend a lot of time on the interstate.

IIRC it adds about 300 - 400 RPM's at those speeds.

I drive a lot of Freeway miles out here in California. I kept my 3.55's.

The 4.10 gears are the single BEST mod I have done on mine. If I knew they'd be that good I would have brought them to the dealership and installed them before I drove home.

I cruise at 80mph with 4.10s all the time and I get between 19 to 20mpg at that speed.
This should help you make up your mind.

Believe me when you feel the thrust of the 4.10's you'll forget about the 1 mpg you'll lose on the highway.

I'd say if you don't lay into it much, you can still get GREAT highway mileage with 4.10 gears. I got roughly 24-25 mpg highway once on a highway-only trip with the Lidio tune, so good mpg is possible.
Now something to consider, if you aren't at all worried about off-the-line performance, I'd honestly recommend not doing the swap. At speed, they don't seem to truly make you much faster, to the point where going from a roll or at anything other than about a stop will leave you nearly dead even with a 3.55 Marauder.
Just some food for thought.

I drive primarily highway with mine at about 75mph and get about 20mpg. Ride is still smooth and the passing is awesome. Fear not Buckaroo, the gears are the way to go
