Hey I just ordered some Flowmaster 40's and I was thinking about adding delete tips also , who here has delete tips and can say there is a noticeable sound differrence with stock or AM mufflers.

I had the baffleless (a/k/a delete) tips added to my boy before I did the shorties/hi-flows, etc. and liked the addtional rumble that it added. I got the tips at a good price and think they make a nice upgrade to the stock exhaust note for the $$$ $pent.

Was it painful? You must have walked funny for at least a week...

I have them installed with Flowmaster 40s and they give the car more rumble especially under throttle. Buy a set. You won't regret it.

Can the stock exhaust tips have the internal resonator removed?
Has anyone tried this?

Bowman9, from what I've gathered here it is technically possible, but the extra labour would eat up any potential savings.
I've ordered the tips and will have the shop extend them beyond the bumper like animal did, so that you can see them better.

Before I had my Kook's kit I ran with just Flowmaster 40's. When I added the resonator delete tips there was a big difference.
