well we picked this up in march from Pittsburgh and it will be on its way to CA to get its nose art before the races. i did all of the painting on this and it was my first full paint job, came out pretty damn good if i say so my self. it will be competing in the "stock" jet class this year out in Reno and ill be its crew chief. this plane has been stripped of anything non essential and cleaned as much drag off it as possible. we pulled close to 500lbs of crap out of it if not more. also deleted the dive brakes. got it all done in 6 months time.

oh yeah, best part about silver is you cant tell the cars been sitting outside for a month and hasnt been washed. ::banana:

Nah then he would have the jet purists complaining about the wagon wheel sized rims he put on his jet and that it was all "donked" out.

Nice job! How fast do you expect that to go? Are the races solo against the clock or other aircraft?

my guess would be around the 400mph mark. there are 8 other planes on the course at the same time.

That speed has got to be fun, assuming they are not flying too high.
