*urp* I think I threw up a little in my mouth. Those are the uglyest squads I've seen.

Ford Talbotville Closure Could be Delayed

With demand of their vehicles soaring, there is a chance there could be a delay in the closure of the Ford Talbotville Plant.
The plants 12 hundred workers have been handed their layoff notices saying effective August 31, 2011 the plant will close.
But also with the letter was a notice from the company.
It states, if demand continues at its current pace, the closure deadline could be extended by a couple of weeks.
CAW local 1520 chair Scott Smith says he'll take whatever they're giving.
While National CAW boss Ken Lewenza isn't holding out much hope on an extension.
He says the language is standard in closing letters and he's had no indication from the company it will need more time.

Well, its after the 8/31 date, is the plant closed? (Talbotville is the St. Thomas plant according to what Ive read.)

Slated to close 8/31/2011, it was allways called the talbotville plant to us locals.

LOL Maybe its because I grew up here but I love the throw back MSP cars. They were ugly yellow cars when I was really little. They also look much better with decals and lights

I think that color combo looks pretty good (though I remember I hated seeing them parked just over the top of a hill going north on I-95 between College Park and Baltimore.)

My thoughts exactly ..... Olive Drab and Black. I think that they look pretty sharp when the colorful Maryland flag logo is added to the doors. I like 'em best when they are NOT behind me or have someone else pulled over. ;)
