Shifter cable length

Can anyone tell me the length of a stock marauder shifter cable? I ordered one from the dealership. It looks exactly like the factory cable but alot longer. It looks about 8 or 9 feet long.

Well Im 6ft and this cable towers above me. It could be closer to 7ft but I doubt it.

Just measured it. This thing is over 9ft. The guy at Ford says its for the marauder though.:confused:

Sounds like you may have bought an emergency brake cable?

Thanks for replying Mr. Zack. My dad got the cable to work. Not sure how but it works better than the old one.
