For maybe 50k you could build a nice 67 Mustang and then you could pocket the remaining $2, 950,000. Frankly I couldnt see paying more than 50k for any American car made after 1945. To me the only cars made in the USA worth giant bucks are the Dueseys, Auburns, Cords, and some of the coach built Lincolns, Caddys and Buicks made back in the early 30's.
