Who the heck is the son of Biff? Griff calls Biff gramps, so Biff must be his grandpa. We see Marty Jr. the son of Marty who is the son of George. So If George had Marty who did Biff have? The only character that comes close to matching up is Needles... a.k.a. Flea.

Is this question ever answered in the movie?

No, there is never a mention of Biff having a child. It jumps instantly to the future with Griff, Biffs grandson.

Also consider that at one point young people thought it was cool to call an older man "gramps", as in a derogatory fashion.
