The wheels on my car are black powdercoated with the original chrome centercaps and a full set of 20 Gorilla locks, also in chrome. I like the contrast.

I now have enough extra wheels to consider powdercoating a spare, but haven't done that yet.

Got the PC wheels from gdmjoe early last year. He also has periodically listed a set of 4 of the silver painted spares that I always wondered how they would look on a MM.

I've been on black powdercoated wheels since '03. I started with the OEM unpolished spares instead of the polished & clearcoated wheels.

I went a different route with my sb, went with a gun metal color. I love it

I like the black. I'm interested to see lurcch's with chrome centercap and lug nuts.

Stop destroying the OEMs! :bigcry: Not saying that the blacked out (or pick a color) aren't a look.....just get something else that's similar and powder coat them? Just sayin'.

You all realize the full size spares are way more rare then the oems right? Our wheels were on mustangs. Powdercoating dosent destroy them anyway.

Nothing wrong with a CV LX Sport. I don't see how you'd consider it a 3.

Didn't the Mustang version haz different size center holes so our centercaps won't work?

Send those out and have a refinisher lathe and polish the outer lip!

The all, all black does something unappealing to the asthetics overall.

Where in Tulsa did you get this done? How much did it cost? How long did it take?

I will be taking a vacation to visit family near Tulsa in the near future. I might have to pay that shop a visit….:hmmm:

If you are going with a black wheel, a polished lip is a must!
