Yep, It had to be a 'K' code for the Hi-Po 289 = 271HP. 'A' code was a 289 4 barrel, 'C' code (oops!)was a 289 2 barrel.
Then Shelby put on a new intake, big 715 cfm 4 barrel carb and Tri-Y headers = 306 HP

Pony Interiors were not an option in 65/66 Shelbys.

Rear valence has 2 holes like Mustang GTs had for their dual exhaust "trumpets".
Shelby's had very loud side dump exhaust or duals that turned down under the rear valence.

Tailights are from a later model '67 Shelby.

IIRC, Shelby's also had ther own VIN coding from Shelby's Venice, California production shop. "SFM 6...."

I just watched the video and it does have the correct plexiglass rear quarter windows instead of the regular Mustang's vents.
Also, rocker panel has a GT 350H which would seem to indicate one of the Hertz rental car Shelbys available in 1966.

Its just a 65 fastback painted up as a shelby. Doesnt look perfect but could be a decent car.

I had an 'A' code '65 GT Fastback 4 speed with the trumpet exhaust....until it got hit-and-run smashed.
As a poor college student, I had no collision and was forced to sell the damaged beauty for $1,800....:bigcry:

So going by just the photos this appears to be a clone? Im not planning to buy it but if it were real it would seem to me to be a heck of a deal. For a clone, not so much.

You can tell it is a repaint because the stripes on the roof look to be the same width as the rear trunk deck. On all shelby's, the roof strips are actually wider so they look the same width as the front or rear stripes when you are looking at it from the front or rear.

Nope, too much wrong with this to be worth 14K.

Well I always troll CL for the unusual. Been watching Barrett Jackson in Las Vegas and its parade of Camaros and Vettes. There was a beautiful sorta purple 57 Cadillac that went yesterday I liked.

There was also a "D" code on the early '65's, that many of us refer to as 64 1/2's. It was the 4V version of the 289 that later in the year morphed into the "A" code 289. There was also a 260 2V in the "64 1/2's. Joe's right though, all of the '65-66 Shelby's were "K" code with a few packing Paxton Superchargers. I seem to recall having seen a Shelby Hertz in Tony Conover's collection with the supercharged 289"K", although I may be mistaken about that. It was many years ago.

After watching the vid, there's more. It does NOT have a "pony interior" and furthermore, the dash is standard '66 camera case 5 cluster; but the "camera case" finish glove box is from a '65 GT, not a standard interior '66. Notice that the surround bezel does not continue around the whole door, as it does in the instrument cluster.

Obviously this is a fake snake but it's a good tool for times like this.
