I guess my google search skills are not what I thought.:( I can't seem to find what the cost was for a 2008 Mustang GT500 Shelby Cobra - not a KR. Is that 500hp? Dealer wants $41k, KB says $43 retail. It has only 6k miles. Salesman said original sticker was $68k. Wickapidia says $40k. Also I wasn't able to find warranty info. Any help?
Thanks, BILL

Per NadaGuides.com clean retail price for the car should be about $40k.

Retail price for a new 08 was 43K, but because they were in short supply, most dealerships made a dealer exception and they were running about $63K. When the economy tanked, they went back to sticker. A Used one with 6000 miles I would peg at about $40K. But like many have said, you can get an 10 or 11 for not much more than that. I can't speak for the 10, but I have an 11 GT and I can tell you it is much better built than the previous generation (I also had an 07GT)

The "KR" was a suspension modification with a list price of $35,000 added to the price of the car. I saw one with a list price of $72,000 with the "KR" option.

I have seen many GT500's for under $40,000. I have seen some for $35,000 granted it may have had like 20,000 to 30,000 miles. Thats nothing.
