I, for one, do not like change. Even if Mercury has fallen victim to badge-play/badge-engineering. Mend 'em, don't end 'em. :mad2:

Screw the moment of silence. I'll have my car roaring the rest of my life.

Nothing is over until we decide it is!

Mercury pretty much for the most part always sucked and I'd have to go with jay leno on this by saying the marauder is the only mercury I would ever own.

Besides The Comet Cyclone, the Marauder S-55, the Cougar Eliminator, the Cyclone Spoiler, the Comet Caliente, the Marauder X-100, the '49 Mercury, and Comet GT.

My little muscle car fantasy has always revolved around a '70 Cyclone Spoiler, but I do have a '69 Torino fastback with a 390, so I can't wish too much. I'm already pretty lucky.

'70 Cyclone spoiler is my dream car too. I actually looked at a 429 Cyclone, but it was way too rough. I also, eventually ended up with a Torino instead... Almost as good.

Thanks! That's it's good side lol. It was my dad's first car. He wrecked it twice and my mom wrecked it once. They had their first date in that car. It's likely I was conceived in it... Mine now though!

Be careful as the chrome trim around the front is virtually impossible to find if it ever needs replaced...

Boy oh boy do I know. I found a new old stock front fender. The guy wanted $1,800. Sheesh. The eyebrow mouldings, as you said, are just as ridiculous.
