when i turn the steering wheel all the way, left or right, i get a metal on metal scraping kind of noise as if something is not lubed up anymore, does anybody know of any grease fittings i should lube up, or where i should apply any kit of lube to any of the steering parts around the front wheels? thanks--

we can rule out grease fittings, as there arent any on the mm!

That's your power steering pump, you shouldn't be holding your steering at left or right extremes anyways. :P If you must get as tight as possible in a turn, turn it as far as it will go then bring it back just a hair once you hear it, the sound will go away (and probably significantly reduce problems).

There are no grease fittings on the MM and we have a ran and pinion steering so there are no stops to grease. Most likely it's you P/S pump.

Checked the fluid level? Try having the system flushed?
