Is that a '69 Grand Tornio? I owned one, it was a pleasure to drive, equipped with the 390 motor. Good looking car with American Racing wheels in grey matte.

It isn't a Torino & Gran Torinos were not built till '72(yeah I'm a stickler for details), the '68-'71 models were Torino GT...

Guess no one noticed this...

I'm gonna have to dig through a different computer for more picts, wife didn't take as many as I thought...

It's a '69 Fairlane Cobra Sports Roof, which is it's official name(Cobras were also avail in the coupe body style)... In '70 & 71 they became part of the Torino line thus were renamed Cobra Torino, so yeah almost everyone refers(incorrectly) to the '69s as Torino Cobra as well...

Only engine available on the '69 Cobra was the 428CJ with Ram Air optional, also the Top Loader four speed and 9" rear were std, these are Ford's answer to the Plymouth Road Runner...

Nice! I almost bought a white '68 with a 302 but failed to act fast enough.
Held out for another couple months and ended up with a '70 w/ a 351W instead.
