View Full Version : My Wife's Place Of Work...

Just got raided by inmigración. She works at one of the largest AT&T offices, here in Indy. She text me telling me the place is in an uproar, and there are signs in the cafeteria that read "Please be patient with us, we are adjusting to a new staff." Seriously? A big company like AT&T hires illegals and doesn't background check them? I would think a big company like that would get in deep doodoo for this. My wife is upset because a lot of cafe workers she likes are probably gonna be deported. :shake: The janitorial staff also got some "downsizing". :shake: :shake: :shake:

You two should move to Ontario.
We take everyone! No need to worry about a background check - EVER! You'll never loose friends up here. If there is a problem in your past in another country...our government will take care of you. You'll get free health care and unemployment money as soon as you walk in!

Send the illegals to Canada.
The shame is that AT&T will possibly get a fine for hiring illegals, then the expenses will get passed on down to the customers. MAYBE the cafeteria operations were outsourced and AT&T will be protected.

It's only desirable for illegals that are close to the southern borders to go to the States. It's easier.
If you're coming from the other side of the world, you go to Canada. Why not? It's free!! :banana2:, and WE PAY YOU! Hell...I pay you with my paycheque taxes! :bs: Nothing like bringing home 52-55% of what you actually make every week because of taxes! Nothing.

Heck, a lot of them go all the way through Mexico to get to the states from Guatemala. What's a couple thousand more miles to get to the promised land.

BTW, Sweden is one of the most socialist countries in the world, and even there they are seeing that it is an unsustainable policy and they're cracking down on immigration.

The US is last sucker standing. Australia's birthright citizenship requirements are much more stringent, took effect in 2007. New Zealand repealed in 2006. Ireland repealed in 2005. France repealed in 1993. India repealed in 1987. United Kingdom repealed in 1983. Portugal repealed in 1981. Canada was the last non-U.S. holdout. Illegal aliens stopped getting citizenship for their babies in 2009.

What angers me is from Mexico they come, to escape a lawless society, understandable... But then they come to the US, as illegals, and make ours a lawless society.

Ha, Ha, Ha ..... ^^^^^^

Maybe in about 3 or 4 years. The system works awfully slow in these cases.

We have a case working now in our county of an illegal from Bolivia who was convicted 3 times of DUI. Was cited for operating on a suspended license. Suspended H3LL, he wasn't entitled to get one in the first place. Slipped through the DMV somehow -- like 7 out of the ten 9-11 hijacking terrorists.

He was working his way through the appeals process for deportation for some 3 years when he was driving drunk AGAIN, crossed the center line, and had a head-on with 3 nuns early on a Sunday morning several weeks ago. One nun died at the scene. Two others remain in critical condition after nearly 6 weeks.

Something is terribly wrong with a system (immigration, legal, and DMV) when crap like this happens. :mad2: Seems that being illegal is actually quite an advantage in cases like this.

Despite the wingnut fantasy that Obama is dangling border security over their heads (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CBUQFjAA&url=http://hotair.com/archives/2010/06/20/kyl-obama-told-me-he-wont-secure-the-border-until-congress-agrees-to-amnesty/&ei=UfVQTPn0L4H68Aa_4aXfDQ&usg=AFQjCNHijATFH-YhFiSKu5eafLfLh9PWtQ) a report published by the Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/07/25/AR2010072501790.html) notes that Obama has deported significantly larger quantity of illegal immigrants than former President George W. Bush.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency expects to deport about 400,000 people this fiscal year, nearly 10 percent above the Bush administration's 2008 total and 25 percent more than were deported in 2007. The pace of company audits has roughly quadrupled since President George W. Bush's final year in office.
The effort is part of President Obama's larger project "to make our national laws actually work," as he put it in a speech this month at American University. Partly designed to entice Republicans to support comprehensive immigration reform, the mission is proving difficult and politically perilous.
Obama is drawing flak from those who contend the administration is weak on border security and from those who are disappointed he has not done more to fulfill his campaign promise to help the country's estimated 11 million illegal residents. Trying to thread a needle, the president contends enforcement -- including the deployment of fresh troops to the Mexico border -- is a necessary but insufficient solution.
