I got some quick shots this morning. The car needs some serious detailing. Since this is my first Black car, I am not sure yet how to attack the clear coat scratches and not make it worse. Time for some research I think.
I also need to get the front bumper repainted. The PO drive by braile at the end
I also need to deal with the drivers front wheel and get new front tires. Might end up with aftermarket wheels, I'm just not sure yet.

Once this all gets sorted, I can start thinking about performance mods!!

Nice! Funny thats the same place my dull rim was on the car when I got it too!
How much you gonna ask for your SHO?

It would be a good idea also once you figure out what you're going to do with wheels to get an alignment done with CarFixer's specs.

The factory alignment will eat the inside of the front tires pretty good and could cause you to toss the tires even with a lot of tread life still on them.
I'm having mine done today, my last set of stock fronts lasted about 45-47k miles still with about 45% tread life but the insides were close to showing the cords.

I am thinking $1500. It is both a basket case, and almost ready to go.

I actually have to get a ball joint replaced, so an alignment is in the plans. Thanks for the specs, that should be helpful.

Looks good. I like the wing.
Adjust your hood down on the passenger side.
Clay bar. Power buff. Wax. It did wonders for my car.

Your front cap, head lites and grill look excellent!
Zaino is a good product.
You might want to think about the front mud flaps. I don't have any damage from not having them but it rarely snows here.
Some times it is better to leave imperfections in the pain then to make the paint so thin you are left with primer. I have 6 layers of acid rain that cannot come off by hand and I don't want to machine buff or wet sand.
Good luck.

A little TLC will go a long way in making it look great. I'd lose the mud flaps, makes it look to much like a GM.

That might be a good call on the flaps.
It appears that the rear bumper is sagging in the middle bottom a little. Any suggestions how to pull it up?

That's a quirk of the car. Everybodies does it. There are a few fixes you can find in the search. Everything from a zip tie to a full out frame job.

are you running front size tires on rear ?also i would put splash guards on rear too. Keeps stone chips off paint and protects stainless tips, car looks good just needs good cleaning.

Looks great. I spend $100 twice yearly at a local detail shop to have them go over the outside. Does wonders. Enjoy!
