I can see having 1 or 2 from each generation but a whole garage full of late 70's buckets?! I might have missed it but he could atleast had like a 70 split bumper, something cool.

I have owned a 78, 79, 80, and a 81 Z28. Wish I would have kept atleast one now. Matter of fact the 78 was my first car. LOVE that collection.

With ya Bob............ This brings back so many memories. I lusted after Camaro's and Trans Ams from 10yrs old. I know some of them are not all that fast by todays standards, but would love to have some of that late 70's early 80's iron in my garage.... The early 70's goes without question. The late stuff though is when I became obsessed with cars. Then learned as much as I could about muscle cars. If High School had credits for it I might have graduated at the top of my class:o

AAAAAHHHH memories. I had a couple of 79s, maroon with gold stripes and silver with orange stripes. Both had quadrabog carbs on them. If there is a better sounding NA motor than one with a quadrajet at WOT (with the breather lid flipped :D ), I have not heard it. Actually there is something better, the sound two of them make when drag racing
thanks for the post CTRLRAVEN

Impressive collection!

That guy must have every color of mid-> late 70s Z28!!

I'm not sure if I would have focused my collecting efforts on that particular vintage Z28...:dunno:
I like the body style....but those years were absolute dogs from a performance standpoint.

There is a guy that lives about 15 miles from me that has about 2 acres of them, don't know if they are all Z-28's, but there must be 200 Camaro's, maybe 20 Firebird's.

Ive seen those pics before someplace. If I remember right he has almost the same number of Chevelles too. I think its great, he wanted his car in every color and had the scratch to go out and buy them. If I was a zillionaire Id do the same thing probably.

All those cars were awesome. Except the new ZR-1 and its comic book hood.

I wonder how many of those Camaros have working transmissions.

I told myself when I sold my '81 Z-28 "Years from now no matter what, don't EVER wonder why you are selling it." I beat that car down. Transmission was shot, starter kept falling down, had a bolt wire-tied to hold the alternator in place, doors were saggy, no A/C because I took it off to save weight, paint was shot, smashed driver side front fender, two of the four water pump bolts were broke off. Interior was so-so. Motor was SOLID, tho. Man, did that thing run. More than a few cars got slaughtered by that ugly Z-28. I'll have to post pics of it.

I bought the last 02 Z-28 in Cincinnati, traded it two years later for the corvette. I still miss Jennifer, hopefully I'll own her again one day!

That Collection Is SICK!!!!! Not to mention the freakin garage!!!!!! I'd love to have something like that one day......... I have figured that I could have one of each color MM for about $40k plus about $30k for a garage for them. :)
