View Full Version : Little punks stole my valve stem caps!

Got a Halloween trick from some of the local punks who stole 3 of my 4 valve stem caps today!

can anyone give me advice as to where I can get good locking replacements?

The ones I see on Ebay are expensive and I dont need logo's on them.
I fear that If I repalce them with regular ones this might become a game to them.

I caught one at the Rockey Point Waldbaum's parking lot w/two of my Skull valve caps in his pockets about four years ago. He eventually gave them up and I don't think he will go any where near the car again.

His is on the right side!!
They did clean/polish-up nice - taking them off the tips was the trick to really get them clean on the wirewheel!

+1 I use those exact valve caps. Working at Waldbaums, I was buying a new set of valve caps every other month. These were a must buy for me. I love seeing the kids spin them forever trying to get them off.

I have been watching out the window for them to return to get the last one.
I hurt my back yesterday so I couldnt even chase them down if they tried it again.
I wanted to at least scare the crap out of them with the panic button.

i didnt know they had godsheads valve caps. i cant believe my black dice have lasted so long

The Gods-head locking caps are a good-looking and effective theft deterrent.

Kids used to do that all the time when I was in middle school. Kids used to steal them and sell them at school. I was given a pair for my bicycle. They used to steal the chrome ones, skull caps, dice caps, any kind that were cool back when people used to put cool ones on. They looked real boss on my bike!

My problems are nill cause of the nice locking valve stem caps! No more seeing them on a Kids bike at store!!!
