btw, notice the qty's and see how many 5x's are left from this year and last year? I get lots of requests for super-big sizes because "it is the heavyweight shootout, you know", then I end up with shirts that nobody wants. Last year I sold ONE 5x at the event, this year I sold a big fat goose-egg. I'll probably not be getting any of them for next year, they cost the most and I end up stuck with them.

I loved Atlanta when I got to go there two years ago, Southern Hospitality and car racing rule in the South !!!

(I have a friend there in Brookhaven who has an old Mercedes like me, his is a 32v. 6.0 litre AMG monster stuffed into it (mine is just a regular 560)

He invited me to come out to RoadAtlanta.


Here he is doing hot laps. He's doing about 130 on the backstretch. You can hear it wind out a bit.

I remember as a boy hearing about the beautiful new 1963 1/2 Mercury Marauders being introduced as fastbacks to race at Nascar.


Oh man those were the days, those '63 and '64 Marauders racing on the Nascar tracks...

Dierenger won the Riverside 400 in a '63 Marauder, he was the first...


Then in '64 Wade won four in a row in his '64 Marauder, ---- Old Bridge 200, Bridgehampton 142, Islip 300, and Watkins Glen.

So the Marauder legend was born.

You guys with the modern Marauders are the keepers of that old racing Marauder flame!!!!!
