Picked up the magazine this afternoon, haven't read it yet.

But... I did have a quick look at it and nearly fell off my chair when I spotted the cop car in the article. Polk County... man, oh man, did that bring back memories.

It's a toss-up between Polk County and Schaumburg Illinois as to the place I've visited most often on business.

Seeing that cop car remined me of how many times I'd be blasting up route 33 (I think) northbound, manually ripping up the transmission on whatever poor rental I had that particular trip. Then, as route 33 wound into 'town' (Polk, if you can call it a town) you'd have to get hard on the brakes once you hit the bridge just in case the ONE cop car in town would be sitting in the parking lot of a convenience store at the other end. By the time you passed the cop car doing 30-35, the speed limit would be back up to 45, then 55, and by then you'd have that rental screaming for takeoff...
