Cher has a good voice, though not many songs seem to emphasize her potential, I'd just as soon listen to a stick dragging on the sidewalk as Sonny...

For a pop duo they had their moments. Their tv variety show was pretty good too back in the day.

During the Summer of 1965, I heard "I Got You, Babe" about 10,000 times. This did not endear me to Sonny Bono. :( I was glad when the Beatle's "Help" knocked them off the charts.

I do like some of Cher's songs since she went solo (i.e. Believe and Gypies, Tramps & Thieves). Gotta say something for her longevity in the business ... she's in her 6th decade as a singer. She's a pretty good actress too >>>> "Moonstruck" and "Mask".
