Need a good Wash DC dealer!

Hello again everyone,

My Christmas wish has been granted and my wife is letting me buy a Marauder. Are there any owners in the Washington, DC area who can recommend a good dealer? I'm looking for something inside a radius of about 100 miles.

The Mercury web site gives me listings, but I was wondering if anyone had a good personal experience with one particular dealer, or if I should just take a chance on the dealer nearest me.

Hum, Jerry's L/M in Manassas has excellent service. They have handled all my warranty issues and currently service my Continental and Marauder. As for sales, you are on your own. I could tell you which ones not to buy from and save you the legwork. Send a e-mail to mwhite@ndf.org

I went to King L/M in Gaithersburg, MD. and they treated me real nice and did what they could to help me with ordering the car. It really helped that I already new want I wanted and having the information and contacts ahead of time. They even paid for an extra Marauder jacket for my wife. If you decide to go there PM me and I will give you the name of the sales manger and the salesman that I used real nice and helpful people. Even one of their mechanics is a Marauder owner, told him about this site last time I was there, don't think he is a member though. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT buy from Jerrys Ford Lincoln Mercury in Leesburg. The Sale was great, but the sevice department stunk!

If you need service work done take your car to Hagerstown Ford near the Valley Mall. They are part of the King family, but deal with the SVTs and other performance vehicles, the service people are very nice and I have never had a problem with them as of time.

You don't say where you are in the DC Area. If you told us which side of the river you are on, that would help.
I used the X-Plan and bought at Safford L-M which is 2 miles from my house. PM me and I can get you a GOOD salesperson's name and be sure you are treated right. My sales person was a woman who was very thorough after I told her what I wanted. She also investigated EVERY rebate/money discount without having to ask!
Safford service is OK.
