I think they reversed what happened. The burnout was cleaning out the engine.

Definitely need to learn your limitations with a bike. I have dumped once and learned my lesson. I always respect my motorcycle and know what it is capable of. I never once said "I will never dump my bike" because I know there is always that chance and the second you say you won't, you will and do. My friend drove me nuts saying that he wouldn't dump and that he is a responsible rider. Well that is all well and good, but there are too many variables on the roads and wouldn't you know it, HE DUMPED IT! Told you so!

This stinks. I know I have taken an off ramp a little too quick and could have wound up in the drink myself, but that was a good lesson as well. Definitely a more level headed rider today, but I know that there is always that chance that I could drop my bike again.
