well i keep getting side work (not complaining) ever since i started working on my truck. this one is a new one for me, a engine swap on a GMC 2500. i now know why i own a ford, i despise how this thing is built, its so stupid. anyway here are the pics

the motor is just about ready to come out, the new motor is forged, bored and stroked with a cam and alum heads with a new intake manifold and a set of LTs. this thing is going to make some serious power.

Even us dumb hayseeds like to go fast too y'know. ;) I know more than a few farmers that have chipped diesels, or upgraded turbos, ect.

I guess I should have remembered that 'poor ole' farmers are the same ones who mount helicopter turbines in John Deeres
for the Tractor Pulls!!!........:bows:

i was never too crazy about big trucks and diesel untill i moved to the country four years ago, i have seen many duramax, cummins and powerstrokes leaving behind anything from a fox body to a GT500. these country boys dont play with them trucks.

Seems like a 429CJ would also work. Here's proof. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnKksFOydok&feature=related

meh, ive always wanted a diesel and love the cummins. since im tearing this all down why the not? i dont like any of the newer trucks and id never buy what surrounds the cummins so im building what i want that no one makes.

finally got the motor out of this thing. ended up putting the front end on blocks and pulling the front end. at least GM made the front end pretty easy to remove. the header panel has a removable top portion which is actually pretty sweet.
