It was pretty lame of the folks to jump on Dennis for offering a group buy on a TC override.
The money he would make on the sale of these could not possibly be much compared to the time spent in setting it up.
If y'all don't want it, so be it. No need to jump Dennis' shiot for offering it up.
I could see these coming in handy for the track oriented folks. It is one less thing to think about when you are staging.

I agree. I would probably purchase one if I had the funds... AND TRACTION CONTROL! hehehe... Thank you 300A! haha.
That is what I thought Marty. The track is what entered my feeble mind as I am foreever forgetting about the OD. Now traction control but I sure need one!

Whats so hard to set up? Collect money, receive items, mail them out. I would be embarrassed to have this in my car and answer questions at a car show.
Q.. Whats that button and LED?
A.. That turns off my traction control and the light reminds me its off.
Q.. And what about the factory button and light?
A.. That also turns off my traction control and reminds me its off.
Q.. Why do you need 2 buttons and 2 lights to turn off the traction control?
A.. :o
Just one less thing to worry about Paul. A lot is going on with the high horse power cars. The bottle goes on mine soon that will be something else to deal with. 70.00 to get one off the checklist is a deal as far as I am concerned! You missed the point on this my friend!:)

Gotta agree with Marty and Pops.
Dennis was offering to do the legwork to make the item available, I'm pretty much used to punching the T/C button off out of habit as well; but nonetheless, I appreciate Dennis' offer.

I am sorry, I can not agree with you.
Have you run a business? Dennis runs one to feed himself and pay a mortgage, after he has paid expenses of running his business.
There just can not be that much of a mark up on a $70 item for a guy who could make $85 plus at turning wrenches.
Meanwhile, sit in my car and make a pass. You will forget your name, never mind remembering what is on and what is off.

For people who run race tunes, have your tuner disable the traction control for the race only tune then you really don't have to worry about it.

If you disable it in the tune, you cannot turn it back on, and the light is on.....all the time, been there, done that.

It seems like a nifty little device, if it turns off the OD and TC, the price seems well worth it. That has got to be one of the cheapest MM mod's out there.

How much do folks spend on a line lock? And it really isn't necessary either, technically speaking, but it sure helps.

Every product is not for everyone. We can all agree with that, but there was no need for folks to pile on to Dennis like they did (frankly, I did not even pay attention to who was doing the piling when I made my post).
This site is way better than that.

Marty, if you're offering joyrides in your car, I'll be happy to take you up on that offer...
As far as the locked thread, yeah, I don't get it. There are many more useless threads and less people ***** about those. I don't see why a product that SOME people might want generated such an amount of BS.

I sold over 400 clothing items to the collective so yeah I DO know whats involved. I also work for my family business so once again, Yes I do know about running a business. Like I said, collect money, receive item, mail it out. I even take the time out to make my own labels. Total setup time is less then 2 hours putting it together, then a half hour at the post office and I don't have people working for me. Im also allowed to voice my opinion whether you agree or not.

Not the same, a line lock saves your rear brakes while doing a burnout, the additional button is for people so distracted that they can't remember to push the existing button on the dash.
IMO its a waste of money, but like most of the worthless crap on ebay that people buy, there's a market for everything.

While it appears purchaseable for less than what Dennis quoted, a couple things come to mind........
The lights and doors don't stay on or open if you don't make a profit.
I would rather support a vendor that supports "our" MM community than to save a couple of $$$, I didn't worry about the cost of any of my other "mods" why should this be different.

My two cents. If you race a high performance car, eliminate as many challenges as you can. If you think otherwise, you aren't in a high hp car. Put on 5 point harness, put on helmet (hey I have forgotten that item), burn out in first gear, shift to second gear, release the brake pedal and dry tires, stop car, shift car to DR, turn off OD to ingage 2-step, turn on nitruos, pre-stage, stage, check that OD light is on and 2-step is engaged, mash gas and wait for light. And you don't want to eliminate a step, check, you crazy, yep.
Sherman you have hit the nail on the head! Thank You!

No, as I read it the memory in the unit remembers the last state of the traction control when you turned off the car.
If you turned off the car with T/C off then the next time(s) you start the car the T/C will be off.

Selling shirts, or fender badges for that matter, is a far cry from running a speed shop. I have done both, as well as run several other slightly successful businesses. I know what's involved.
I am not sure what your family business is but I am sure they would be happy if folks piled on to say that they overcharged.
In any event, consider site decorum. folks jumped in a vendor site and started slinging mud. What the hell for? If you are not interested in the vendor's sales, stay TFO.
Sorry if my opinion offends you. Okay, well not really. :censor:

And someone is going to have some cleaning up to do. As for the folks who piled on Mr. Reinhart, what a classless bunch you are. Even if you don't like the man or his business, vote with your wallets and not your mouths. Whether you like him or not, he's a supporting vendor here, which is what keeps the lights on for all of everyone's generally useless drivel (mine included).

I always feel bad for the unknowing who open their mouths and show just how much they don't know.
Dennis did not ask for me to post and, in fact, I have very little contact with him and have not discussed this with him.
I just think that the posts by certain members were thoughtless.
The one thing that no one seems to have picked up on was Dennis' statement "the Mustang guys are paying $65" and then he mentions group buy... Maybe I'm wrong but I took that as a hint the price would be less for large purchase...
The one thing that no one seems to have picked up on was Dennis' statement "the Mustang guys are paying $65" and then he mentions group buy... Maybe I'm wrong but I took that as a hint the price would be less for large purchase... Same thoughts here! How much money do guys make on this site selling other items such as shirts badges decals and a host of other items. Are they all paying a full vendor fee? The answer is NO! DO they all get pulled over the fire for making a buck? Some should learn to keep the mouth shut or they may get the same treatment. Food for thought guys!
All of the internet gangster's that felt the overwhelming need to jump into Dennis ***** for gauging interest for a group buy need to step back and take a look at how they would feel if the tables were turned there was no need to post rude comments a simple no would have sufficed. Last time I was at the track I performed all my pre-flight check but I forgot to roll up my window. I would love to be able to scratch two items off my pre-flight check list. It's a cool and interesting product and I will consider purchasing this down the road. Dennis thanks for your continued dedication to the Marauders, most have jumped ship on this platform and are on to the next big thing.
I can see a vendor offering a product and trying to make money, who doesn't want to make a living? I can also see someone pointing out the pros and cons of said product.

CBT I can agree with part of what you said, but no one should come in a vendor forum and bash him for trying to help his customers and his business.
Now lets talk about the Pro's that would be it is less things to worry about when staging, there are no cons except for the cost, I am a paying vendor here, no other vendor on this site would allow any member to post a link of a product that is 1/4 the cost, of what he is offering in his forum that is plane wrong.
I stated I have spent time with the inventor and he said the Auto Zone relay will not work as well as his printed circuit board, if any one wants this then go buy it, so the member that posted the PDF link here can post it in the general forum. Not here.
I want to personally thank the members that have spoke up here, I can clearly see they care, this is not a hobby for me, it is my way of making my living and I always try and look at new things for our car, case in point was the Pro Guard that was made fun of but it works and I have sold hundreds here for little profit, so now this thread has ran it's course lets move on.
