I am in the process of gathering parts for a brake system over haul. My plan is SS hoses power slot cryo rotors, pads are still up in the air and powder coating all four calipers. But to powder coat I have to take the calipers all apart and might as well put all new rubber back in. Are there any kits out there for MMs or what other ford uses the same set up?

Try any good auto parts store, they may be able to get a rebuild kit from the place that rebuilds the used cores they send.

Yes the kits are availavble. I did a DIY PC on all mine a few years ago and they still look great. I don't remember the part number's but I got the kit from rockauto.com

BTW Hawk HPS pads FTW!

The following P/N's are what I ordered from Rock Auto:

Rear Caliper Piston Seal Kit (Centric): 14361030
Front Caliper Piston Seal Kit (Centric): 14365016

You might want to replace the slide pins and boots and the same time. I have a captured all of various P/N's from all my past projects on a Excel spreadsheet. If you have Excel just shoot me your email address and I can send you the file. It will have a complete list of all of the various brake caliper parts I used along with various gaskets, suspension stuff and site links.

Just make sure to do all of your piston bore prep work prior to the PC being done. Make sure they tape off all of the correct areas and tape them off thoroughly. I had mine done and they did a very, very, very poor job taping stuff off. I basically ruined the PC work cleaning up the brake line seals, bleeder screw ports, the dust boot seal, and where the rear slide pins mount.

Should have brought them back to Brothers but had the parts on shelf for 3 months before I went to put the calipers back together. Will be doing it again soon with the set I removed from the car and bring it to a shop I know will do it right.

If people are interested I can write a rebuild procedure sometime after the new year. I'll probably be doing the next set of calipers in March or April on my car or a friends before then.

Have you guys had any luck with that caliper paint you sometimes see?
Seems it would be easier, but IDK about the quality/longetivity of it VS powder coat?

I am managing a small powder coating opperation and a body shop. So it is not much of an issue. With 105k on the clock a full rebuild and coating should get me to 200k looking pretty. I going blue on a SB
