totally badass. ive always wanted to ride out in the desert since i started riding quads and dirt bikes, i love that type of open high speed trail, its so fun.

on a side note, i did not know the 6.2 used 16 plugs, interesting.

first time i saw A Raptor i loved it. jacked up suspension, tall tires, only thing else it needs is some Areos now:D give me an orange or blue and im ready to rocks and rolls.

It is a BAD ASS truck. It's amazing that I've seen any here on Long Island being there is shore to shore asphalt and yet every so often one pops up. :D

I have seen a couple around here. They are sweet trucks but a diesel engine would've been whey better, specially with that price tag.

too heavy, dont rev high enough diesel would have been a bad choice

The SuperCrew is only equipped with the new 6.2L. I guess they are starting to get some of them early. General Mgr I know at my old Ford dealer said the projected date was late January/early February.

From what I read, the 6.2 is the only engine for the Raptor.

Remember gearing on rearend and transmission would solve the rev problem.
I also read on a diesel magazine that for is working on a small cubic inch v8 diesel, If I remember right it was a 4.2 liter.

4.4, spose to be in the new 150s. a diesel really wouldn't be good in the raptor, you dont need the extra weight hanging off the nose when jumping your truck lol. you need them rpm to get through sand and still run 70mph+ through the desert.
