Disable SRS
Remove air bag
Disconnect clockspring electrical connector
Remove & discard streeing wheel bolt
Remove the steering wheel with the appropiate puller
Reinstall is the reverse of the removal using a new steering wheel bolt

Because the shop manual says to.
Must be a torque to yield bolt. BTW.. the torque is 30 ft/lbs.

Makes no sense....the steering wheel won't just slip off......must be an "FAA RULE"!!??:shake: How much is a new bolt....$25.00??
Sometimes they carry "Safety & Liability" to extremes!!:argue:
